Prices

Prices include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to revise any prices in the event of unforeseen circumstances or a change in the VAT rate. The pricing and availability information is subject to change without notice.

Conditions of sale

All seeds offered by us are guaranteed to comply at the time of delivery with E.U. Seeds Regulations currently in force. Information given about products is to the best of our knowledge, and is for general guidance only. All dimensions and capacities are approximate; please also remember that environmental factors can affect plant growth.

Special offer codes

All offer codes and discounts may only be used once. Any offer codes or discount may not be used in conjunction with any other money off voucher or offer.

FREE Seed

Free Seed with every seed order is limited to one per household and are subject to availability. We regret we cannot resupply free seeds if they are missing from your order.

Payment policy

All goods must be paid for at time of ordering. Payments made by debit or credit card are debited at time of ordering.

Postage and packaging

Postage and packaging is applied on a per order basis, no matter how many items ordered, and will be automatically added to your shopping basket. You will only be charged once, even if your order is delivered in several stages. Orders containing both seed and non-seed items will be subject to a charge of £1.95, plus the appropriate charge for the non-seed item(s).

Postage and packaging is automatically calculated when items are added to your shopping basket, as follows:

Orders for Packet Seed (for growing) or Viresco®

Postage and packaging is £1.95p per order no matter how big your order.

Overseas Orders

Unfortunately, we can no longer supply any products to Northern Ireland or Europe, including seed and seed potatoes. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Orders containing non-seed items

Non-seed items normally have a single £4.95 postage and packaging charge per order no matter how many items are ordered.

How long will my order take to deliver?

If delivery is to a UK address, seed products will usually arrive within 3-5 days of receiving your successful payment. During peak season (Jan - March) this may take up to 10-14 days.

For orders of non-seed products (e.g. plants, potatoes, accessories, etc) the latest despatch dates are listed alongside each product.

All of us at Mr Fothergill's genuinely care for our customers and insist that the quality of all our seeds and plants and level of customer service are of the highest standards - we want you to enjoy shopping with us. However we are only human and very occasionally things do go wrong, but please rest assured, we will always do our very best to put things right. Should you be dissatisfied for any reason, we will gladly send replacements or refund the purchase price upon request.

Our seed is tested in our own laboratory for the highest quality and where appropriate is packed in hermetically sealed foil sachets for freshness. If you are unhappy with any of our seed, for any reason, please return for a 'no quibble' replacement or refund as appropriate. None of our seed has been genetically modified.
