Planting & Harvesting
Sow & Grow
Indoor, January-April, 0.5cm (1/4") deep in pots or trays of seed compost. Keep moist and warm, approx. 15-20C (60-68F) is ideal. Transplant to individual pots when plants are 10-15cm (4-6") tall. Grow on in cooler but not cold conditions. Plant out April-June, to large pots, grow bags or the greenhouse border. Can also be grown in a sunny, sheltered spot outside. For outdoor plants delay sowing until March of April. Support plants and pinch out any side shoots as they appear. Water daily and feed regularly once first trusses have set.
