An extremely pretty and compact little plant that stood out on the trial grounds!
This attractive plant produces great crops of fiery, elongated, slender chillies which ripen to shades of peach and orange, which is unusual. Ideal for patio containers, it can produce rewarding crops outdoors as well as indoors.
Planting & Harvesting
Sow & Grow
Sow indoors: February-April, 1.5cm(1/2in) deep in pots or trays of seed compost. Keep moist and maintain a temperature of approx. 25oC(77oF). Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Remove cover when seedlings appear, then transplant to 7.5cm(3in) pots when large enough to handle. Gradually harden off and plant out late May-June, after last frosts, ideally in large pots or containers and place in a sunny, sheltered spot. Keep moist and weed-free. For greenhouse crops, transplant to growing bags or large pots in the greenhouse in May-June.
Harvest: July-October, outdoor crops will be smaller and later.
