Planting & Harvesting

Sow & Grow

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS: Sow indoors, March-April, 1.5cm (½”) deep, in pots or trays of seed compost. The seed coating is rather hard, so it will hasten germination if the seeds are soaked in tepid water for a day or two beforehand. Maintain a temperature of around 20°C (68°F) and keep moist. Thin (prick out) to individual pots when seedlings are large enough to handle. Harden off carefully and plant out to growing position from late May. Flowers: June to September.
