GROWING INSTRUCTIONS: Sow: indoors January to April, thinly in pots or trays of seed compost lightly cover with compost. Keep moist and place in a cold frame or cool greenhouse. When large enough transplant to individual 7.5cm (3in) pots of compost. Gradually harden off before planting out to final position in late May spacing 45cm (18in) apart.
Or, sow outdoors in a seed bed May to June cover lightly with fine soil, thin as necessary. Transplant to flowering position in September to October, 45cm (18in) apart.
