Indoor, January-March, 0.5cm (1/4") deep in pots or trays of seed compost. Place in a propagator or clear polythene bag and keep moist and warm at approx. 20-25C (68-77F). Remove cover when seedlings appear. Transplant to individual pots when the seedlings have developed 2-4 true leaves. Gradually harden off in May before planting out 30cm (1') apart.
