Sow indoors:All year round, a warm kitchen windowsill is all you need for starting these seeds. Sow 0.5cm(1/4in) deep, in trays of compost. Water well and place in a warm position. A temperature of 20-25C(68-75F) is ideal. Keep moist. Seedlings usually appears in 14-28 days. Germination may be slow and erratic. Transplant seedlings individually to small pots of compost when large enough to handle. Allow compost to dry out before watering.
