Jostaberry Fruit Plants
A cross between a gooseberry and blackcurrant bearing dark red fruits in summer on thornless stems. The gooseberry-like fruits are packed with Vitamin C and have a gooseberry-like flavour, which becomes more blackcurrant-like as the fruit matures. Well worth a try!
These more unusual types of berry are great for container growing. They make attractive features for patios, balconies and roof gardens, and provide tasty fruits which can be eaten fresh, used in drinks and smoothies or cooking with.
