Apple Autento x1
Apple Autento x1

Mrf Dietry Fibre Veg Container Vitamin C

H: October

Autento is a modern hybrid packed full of flavour! Crossed with Cox’s Orange Pippin, the fruit is bright red with a firm skin, a sweet taste and is very aromatic. We have found it to store really well too, especially if kept in the fridge. Ready for harvesting from October.

We have found these varieties to be relatively trouble free and resistant to many common pests and diseases. However, this doesn’t mean that flavour has been sacrificed - far from it! Enjoy full flavoured fruits and a heavier, healthier crop.

The British climate is said to be one of the best in the world for growing apples of the highest quality. We've chosen three much loved favourites which are all guaranteed to crop well.

All of our top quality fruit trees have been chosen for their flavoursome fruits as well as for their proven performance in UK gardens. Our carefully selected range is grown on dwarfing or semi-dwarfing rootstock, so trees are easy to manage and enables several varieties to be grown in a relatively small space. Add to this their versatility and attractive spring blossom, and you have a very welcome addition to the garden.

Pollination
Many of our varieties will pollinate themselves perfectly satisfactorily, but the best fruit set is assured by choosing two varieties from the same species group. However, bees will be able to help by cross pollinating from neighbouring trees.
