This remarkable variety of Strawberry is a strong and vigorous grower and produces very long runners (up to 40in/1m in length), allowing it to be trained against walls and trellis work, supported to bamboo canes (as illustrated in the picture) or allowed to cascade from hanging baskets and window boxes. The aromatic berries of strawberry ount Everest are sweet and juicy and will be ready for picking from mid June through to September great for growing on patios and balconies.
All of the varieties featured here are the ones which have performed really well on our trials ground, in terms of ease of growing and reliability and, of course, for their irresistible flavours. They all have long cropping periods too, from early summer through to September, so you can enjoy picking and eating them for several months on end!.
