Courgette Cocozelle v. Tripolis

The cocozelle has a dark green skin which produces pronounced lighter stripes along its length. The heirloom variety is said to have an excellent 'old fashioned' flavour although that could be difficult to prove we say that the taste is very good and the flesh firm. It can be harvested up to 20cm (8in) long.
