Grass-like clumps of triangular, green stems bearing clusters of thin, bright green, thread like rays with greenish-brown flower clusters at the ends. Mainly an aquatic plant, but will do well in most situations providing the roots are kept damp. Needs winter protection in severe weather and colder areas. Hardy to approx. -5 deg C (31 deg F).
