Even before the cherry-sized fruits are produced, Blueberries will have already given a marvellous ornamental display! When they first emerge the leaves are a bronze red, slowly turning to green and serve as an ideal backdrop to the creamy-white blossom. These little blue beauties are packed with health boosting compounds which amongst other things are said to slow the ageing process, to protect against Alzheimer's and heart disease and even reduce the effects of carcinogens. The perfect patio crop! Growing to around 70in/180cm, this early variety will fruit from the beginning of July.
