(Second Early) Bred from the popular Pink Fir Apple, this variety is not quite so knobbly, making it easier to prepare. The attractive pink skin and firm, waxy texture ensure a delicious flavour. Excellent scab resistance so this is a particularly good variety to serve unpeeled, hot or cold.
(First Early, 1930s) Britain's favourite early new potato with a firm waxy texture and agreeable flavour. Good yields of medium sized oval tubers. Tasty enough to eat on their own, simply boiled and topped with a knob of butter.
Named to celebrate the end of WW1, this is one of the tastiest older varieties, and a heavy cropper too! Vivid blue-purple skin contrasts with a floury white flesh, ideal for baking, chipping, roasting and mashing. It has good disease resistance, weed suppressing foliage and keeps well.
(Early Maincrop) One of the all-time best salad varieties with longish tubers, a smooth yellow flesh and delicious waxy texture. The flavour improves further with storage.
(1898) Named in celebration of Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee, this rapidly became the nation's favourite second early on account of its superb flavour and dry, floury texture. Still one of Ireland's most popular potatoes.
A very attractive Maris Piper type with white skin and creamy coloured flesh. Rapidly gaining in popularity due to its consistent cooking qualities and lovely flavour. Our trials have shown it to be high yielding with excellent all-round disease resistance. Named after the film featuring Liza Minnelli - the breeder's favourite film star!
The most successful and popular Irish variety ever - highly resistant to most potato problems including blight and eelworm, coupled with good drought tolerance. Strong bushy growth prevents wind damage. The flesh is soft and moist with a lovely waxy texture. Splendid as wedges.Only available to customers located within G.B.
